Swasthavritta and yoga is the branch that looks into the promotion of health with healthy life style. Dinacharya (daily regimen), ritucharya (seasonal regimen), Sadvritta and achara rasayana (moral codes of conduct) advocated in Ayurveda are the four pillars of health. The department creates awareness about Ayurveda among the masses regarding life style disorders. The unit of yoga is established for the maintenance of health and therapeutic purposes.
